About the Event
Hello Everyone!!
If you are interested in trying acrylic painting or if you are thinking of upgrading your skills, Join this workshop where you will learn to create a floral composition using acrylic paints.
The participants will learn:
- Intrduction to acrylic paints
- Types of papers and brushes
- Difference between various paints
- Colour mixing and brush strokes control
- Drawing and painting a floral composition
All the instructions will be given step by step, while artist will paint along with the participants. First 2 hours for painting and half an hour for Question and answer session.
Materials required for the workshop:
- A4 Size paper (greater that 200 GSM ): ivory sheet/ canvas/ Mix media paper/ 300 GSM Watercolor paper ( Any 1 of the 4 things)
- Acrylic paint - bottles or tubes (Poster colours or gouache paints can also be used)
- Brushes - any round and flat brushes you have ( for guidance: round brushes no.s 0,2, 4, 8. Flat brushes no.s 4, 6, 12)
- Colour Palatte/ plate/ saucer
- Masking tape (optional)
- Cotton cloth/ tissue paper for wiping brushes
- 2 glasses of water
- Pencil and eraser
- Extra plain paper for practice
This is a beginner level workshop. No experience required.
